An early morning accident in jasper leaves two vehicles totaled and one person cited for driving without a license. Tuesday morning at 545am Jonathan D. Mitchell of English was driving a 2009 Chevy Silverado northbound on 3rd Ave near A Street. A 2007 Chevy Impala driven by  Enrique Sandoval of Jasper was southbound on 3rd Ave near A Street. Sandoval crossed the center line and drove into the northbound lane of travel and then drove head-on into Mitchell. Both Vehicles were left totaled. Sandoval was transported to Memorial Hospital by EMS. He was also cited for  Operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license. JPD units were assisted by the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, Memorial Hospital EMS, and Ruxers Towing service.
