Around 9:40 PM on Saturday, dispatch received a call from concerned citizens about a possible impaired driver in a 2018 Ford F-150. JPD was able to locate the vehicle and the driver, identified as 31-year-old Rony Mafredo Ramos Rosel of Jasper at the Holiday Liquors on U.S. 231.

During the investigation, it was determined that Ramos-Rasel had a BAC over three times the legal limit at .0249. He was arrested and transported to the Dubois County Security Center where he is facing the following charges:

  • OWI with BAC .15 or higher
  • OWI Endangerment
  • Operating Without Ever Receiving a License
