After an extensive investigation lasting over a month, the Boonville Police Department attempted to serve an arrest warrant on Jon Ingram, a 62-year-old resident of 605 E. Liberty Street in Boonville, Indiana. The warrant was issued for charges related to methamphetamine distribution. Ingram’s residence is located near Loge Elementary School, raising concerns due to its proximity.

Upon arriving at the residence, officers discovered that Ingram was not home. However, probable cause led to the issuance of a search warrant. During the search, several firearms were confiscated, four of which were later confirmed as stolen.

As officers awaited the search warrant, Ingram arrived at his home, unaware of the ongoing police presence. He was immediately taken into custody on the outstanding warrant. A substantial amount of cash and suspected methamphetamine were found in his possession at the time of his arrest. Additionally, three other individuals were apprehended in connection with the case.

Authorities remind the public that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
