Lila J. Seger, age 69, of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 12:10 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

Lila was born in Jasper, Indiana, on August 19, 1955, to Linus and Anna Lee (Hardin) Lorey. She married Allen Seger on October 11, 1975 in Celestine Catholic Church.

She was a 1973 graduate from Dubois High School.

She worked at Jasper Group.

Lila was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, kayaking, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Allen Seger, Huntingburg; daughter, Jayme (Curt) Bowles, Dubois; son, Clint (Kathi Burke) Seger, St. Anthony; three grandchildren: Payton and Sam Bowles, and Clayten Seger, brother, Larry (Judy) Lorey, Jasper; three sisters: Barbara (Bob) Willhite, Alfordsville; Kim (Linda) Lorey, Evansville; Paula (Jack) Rogers, Jasper; and sister-in-law, Norma Lorey, Celestine.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Tony Lorey and Douglas “Corky” Lorey.

A private funeral service for Lila J. Seger will be held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home.
