Sharon J. Blessinger, age 78 of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 10:06 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

Sharon was born in Jasper, Indiana on May 13, 1946, to Walter and Irene (Mendel) Blessinger.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, and their Ladies’ Sodality.

Sharon enjoyed going out to eat and being around friends and family.  

 She is survived by two sisters; Mary Guy (Mike), Loogootee, and Maureen Kern (Roger), Dale, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters; Phyllis Blessinger and Margaret Blessinger, and five brothers; John, Ronald, James, Charles, and Daniel Blessinger.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Sharon J. Blessinger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass time at Holy Family Catholic Church on Thursday.
