Shirley Zehr, age 68, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at home.

Shirley was born in Jasper, Indiana, on July 2, 1956, to John and Elizabeth (Weber) Zehr. 

She was a graduate of Northeast Dubois High School. 

Shirley worked at Indiana Cabinet in Dubois, Indiana, Inwood Office Furniture in Jasper, Indiana, and Jasper Rubber Products in Jasper, Indiana.

She was an avid Kentucky Wildcat basketball fan and collected unicorns.  When she was younger she enjoyed traveling and had gone to Mexico and Hawaii.   She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her dogs, Pablo and Molly.

Surviving are two brothers, Allen (Carolyn) Zehr, Dubois, IN, Wayne Zehr, Jasper, IN, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great-great niece.

Preceding her in death are her parents, two sisters, Joann Kluemper and Doris Zehr, her friend, William Sparrow, and two great nephews, Curt and Kyle Goffinet.

A funeral service for Shirley Zehr will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, with burial to follow in St. Raphael Cemetery in Dubois, IN.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the funeral home on Monday.
