Actors Community Theatre (ACT) has announced the creation of the new “Actors Community Theatre Endowment,” developed in partnership with the Dubois County Community Foundation. This fund is designed to provide lasting financial support for the nonprofit theatre’s productions, educational programs, youth initiatives, and community engagement efforts.

Founded in 1947, ACT has served as a creative outlet for performers, directors, and technicians across Southern Indiana. The newly established endowment aims to secure the organization’s long-term sustainability, offering a dependable funding source that will help protect against economic uncertainty and ensure future growth.

Donations to the endowment can be made as one-time or recurring gifts through the secure portal on the Dubois County Community Foundation’s website. Contributions are welcome from individuals, businesses, and arts supporters who want to invest in the future of local theatre.

ACT is also preparing for its summer production of Mary Poppins the Musical, set to run July 24–27, 2025, at the Jasper Arts Center. Tickets will go on sale June 25 at 8 a.m. Eastern and can be purchased online.

More details on ACT’s upcoming 2025–2026 season will be announced later in July.
