The annual Celestine Streetfest returns on Saturday, June 28, 2025, bringing a full day of entertainment, food, music, and community fun to the grounds of St. Celestine Catholic Church in eastern Dubois County.
Nestled near Patoka Lake, this hometown tradition invites visitors from across the region to enjoy a wide variety of free events, live entertainment, kids’ activities, and more. The celebration kicks off early with the Car & Offroad Show and Tractor Show beginning at 8:00 a.m., followed by a 5K Run/Walk at 8:30 a.m. and the Kickball Tournament at 9:00 a.m.
Other highlights include the Pedal Tractor Pull, Mighty Machines exhibit, food stands, adult games, kids’ zone, and the popular Sheephead Tournament. Visitors can explore craft booths, prize games, a quilt show, and witness the Boy Scouts’ Troop 170 Flag Ceremony.
Live music takes center stage in the evening, with Dirty Deeds, a nationally touring AC/DC tribute band, performing from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m., followed by Boogie Tunes Entertainment keeping the party going in the beer garden until midnight.
The event also features a Fire Department Truck Pull, a Distinguished Service Award Ceremony recognizing outstanding community members, and a 4:00 p.m. Catholic Mass at St. Celestine Church.
All events are free to attend, with free parking and beer garden access. Most of the action takes place in the flat east parking lot between the church and the fire station. Parking is available throughout the community with designated spaces for the elderly and those with mobility needs on the church’s west side.
