Mary E. Rasche, 68, of Ferdinand, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, at her home. She was born September 29, 1956, in Huntingburg to Robert Sr. and Betty Jean (Hildenbrand) Rasche.

Mary was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church. She enjoyed artistic painting and hiking.

She is survived by five brothers, Robert (Diane) Rasche of Mariah Hill; Lester (Ruth) Rasche and Donny (Martha) Rasche, both of Ferdinand; Steve (Jan) Rasche and Alan (Rhonda) Rasche, both of St. Meinrad; and three sisters, Linda Bouillon of Ireland, Carol Rasche of Ferdinand, and Ann (Jeff) Schaeffer of Birdseye.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Peggy Faulkenberg; brother, Danny Rasche; brother-in-law, Gary Bouillon; and a nephew, Jason Faulkenberg.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, at St. Ferdinand Church. There will be no visitation. Burial will follow at a later date. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
