The Town of Ferdinand has announced its Fall Clean-Up schedule for 2025. The service, provided by the Ferdinand Street Department, is available to town residents only.

Normal household trash pickup will begin Monday, October 13, with crews starting at 7 a.m. Clean-Up for the west side of town will take place on Tuesday, October 14, followed by the east side on Wednesday, October 15. If needed, an additional day of pick-up is scheduled for Thursday, October 16.

Residents must attach six trash stickers per household—not per item. Accepted items include bicycles, carpet (cut and bundled), wood furniture, appliances, TVs, sinks, washers, dryers, microwaves, dehumidifiers, and wood piles no longer than four feet in length. Certain items, such as fluorescent bulbs, freezers, refrigerators, tires, mattresses, box springs, upholstered furniture, remodeling materials, and hazardous liquids, will not be collected.

Pick-up is limited to a “reasonable amount” per household. Questions may be directed to the Ferdinand Street Department at 812-367-2280 or Solid Waste Management at 812-482-7865.
