A benefit ride is being planned to support a local family following a child’s cancer diagnosis.

“Cruisin for Cora” is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, with proceeds going to the Hopf family after Cora was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

The event is open to cars, trucks, jeeps, and motorcycles.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., with the first vehicle set to leave at 11 a.m.

The ride will begin and end at Legendary Lanes in Huntingburg, with a stop at the Loogootee Fire Department where food will be available.

Early registration is 25 dollars per person and includes a meal, raffle ticket, and bracelet.

Day of registration will be 30 dollars.

A poker run will also be held for 5 dollars per entry, and additional raffle tickets will be available.

Pork chop dinners will be sold separately for 15 dollars.
