Deaconess Memorial Medical Center is offering a free Stroke Survivor and Caregiver Support Group on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 2 to 3 PM.
These support group meetings are designed to where attendees can talk openly with others who share similar experiences, as stroke care doesn’t end when you leave the hospital, and many stroke survivors and their caregivers experience changes in lifestyles and emotions while adjusting to new daily routines.
This next support group will be held in the Mary Potter Meeting Room at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center, (located at 800 West 9th Street in Jasper), and the topic for the meeting will be home safety and preventing falls. Pre-registration is not required to attend.
