A Jasper man and woman are facing theft charges after stealing from Walmart.

The Jasper Police responded to the Newton Street Walmart for reports of a theft in progress at 11 am today.

31-year-old Cody Christenson and 26-year-old Paige Boekman were caught leaving the store without paying and taken into custody.

While searching for Christenson and Boekman, police found additional stolen items and narcotics.

When searching their vehicle with a K-9 unit, police found more narcotics.

Both Christenson and Boekman were taken to the Dubois County Security Center for processing and booking and charged with Level 6 Felony counts of Theft, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Possession of Controlled Substance, and a Misdemeanor Count of Criminal Mischief
