More information released about Forest Park student’s death

More information has been released about the death of a Forest Park student.

Dubois County Coroner, Robert Veatch, tells us that 16-year-old Anderson Peters died Monday.

Preliminary autopsy results show that Peters died from an enlarged heart due to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

According to Veatch, Peters collapsed at the first wrestling practice of the season and was rushed to Memorial Hospital.

School officials say grief counselors are available for students and staff.

As with the community, our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
