Some personnel changes have been made in the transmission division of Jasper Engines & Transmissions Crawford County facility.
The company says Daniel Farmer, who most recently served as a team leader in the Crawford County Transmission Division, has been named a group leader for that same division. Farmer will oversee re manufacturing duties in five transmission work areas along with their respective dynamo meter testing and shipping areas.
Farmer has been a Jasper Engines associate for five years, and his previous duties included overseeing the fitness program at Crawford County as well as coordinating work conditioning classes for new associates. He began his manufacturing career by participating in two workshops within the gas division at Crawford County.
Meanwhile, Kevin Broughton, who has been with the company for 19 years, has been named divisional manager for JET Transit and the Crawford County Service Department, where Broughton will work to maximize efficiency and move toward a goal of one to two-day nationwide delivery.
Finally, Kyle Lueken has been named Division Manager for JET Distribution, JIS, Jasper Ecotech and the retail kit area. Lueken is a five-year associate, and his previous duties involved branch auditing for one year before moving to JIS, where he has served as operations manager for four years. Lueken will work to streamline product delivery.
In a news release vice president of integrated logistics Luke Bawel says the company is looking forward to continuing their growth and driving out hard work within all areas involved to ultimately reach a goal of (one- to two-) day nationwide delivery. Bawel says its one more step toward making Jasper Engines & Transmissions the brand of choice for their customers and the company of choice for associates.
