David M. Huffer, age 73, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 4:20 a.m. on Friday (January 15, 2016) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.

David M. HufferDavid was born in Columbus, Ohio, on April 18, 1942 to Merle and Maybelle (Phillips) Huffer.  He married Rachel (Jeannie) Gerhardt on April 25, 1969 in Circleville, Ohio.

David worked as a salesman for 40 years and received various awards for excellence in sales.

He was an Army Veteran and member of the NRA.

He enjoyed golfing and gun collecting, stamp collecting, and stayed very active running a home based business.

A worship service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday (January 17, 2016) at the Presbyterian Reformed Church of Jasper at 1330 E. 3rd Ave. Jasper, Indiana, 47546.  Rev. Brad Freeman will officiate.  Private burial will be held at a later date.

Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday (January 19, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana and from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Wednesday (January 20, 2016) at Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville, Ohio.  The V.F.W. Post #673 will conduct military grave site rites at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
