Fred E. Faith, age 81 of Otwell, Indiana passed away at 6:40 a.m. Friday, (February 26, 2016), in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

Faith, FredHe was born at Odon, Indiana on October 14, 1934 to Harvey and Mary (Smiley) Faith. He was married to Norma Hill on September 5, 1953 and she preceded him in death on May 17, 1997.

Fred Faith was a retired minister who retired from the Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church in Velpen where he was the pastor for many years and the Jasper Engines and Transmission where he worked for over thirty years. He also served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Currently he was a Deacon in the Pleasant Grove General Baptist Church in Velpen.

Four grandchildren. Denim Dorsey, Cory Norris, Chad Norris and Khesha Bruner and eight great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death besides his wife are three sisters, Imogene Faith, Maxine Sink and Hazel Nalley. Also three brothers, William, Harvey Jr and Bobby Faith.

Funeral services for Fred Faith will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (February 28, 2016), at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen. Rev. Adam Cissell will officiate.

Friends may call from 09:00 a.m. Sunday until the 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
