Officials with the Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office say thus far Thus far, 10 of the cases filed in Dubois County resulting fro Operation Double Trouble have been resolved.

The office says 27-year old Matthew Cronin of Huntingburg and 57-year old Jeffrey Friede of  Linton entered into plea agreements this past Tuesday February 2nd of which call for both men will serve prison time.

The prosecutor’s office says Cronin pled guilty to a level 5 Felony count of Dealing in Methamphetamine and is set to be sentenced to 4 years at the Indiana Department of Correction. Meanwhile Friede also pled guilty to a Level 4 Felony of dealing in Methamphetamine and is set to be sentenced to 10 years at the Indiana Department of Correction.

Both men are set for sentencing on April 6th at 1 pm.

Back on June 4th of this past year, local law enforcement officers began serving arrest warrants for drug dealing offenses stemming from an investigation known as ìOperation Double Trouble.î

In 2 rounds of arrests, a total of 18 individuals were served with arrest warrants for drug dealing charges in Dubois and Spencer Counties.

8 Operation Double Trouble cases remain pending at this time. Thus far, the sentences imposed in the resolved cases total 50 years, with 40 years of jail time.
