A Saturation Patrol in Pike County over the weekend netted three impaired drivers

Indiana State Police say between 10 o’clock Friday night and 4 o’clock Saturday morning ISP Troopers along with deputies with the Pike County Sheriff’s Department conducted a saturation patrol targeting impaired and dangerous drivers.

Officers arrested three impaired drivers during the six-hour period.  They say one of the impaired drivers, 33-year old Steven Bartlett of Bloomington, was found sleeping while parked in the passing lane on I-69 near the 50 mile-marker. Bartlett was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

All three drivers were arrested and taken to the Pike County Jail.
