According to a news release from the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department, a pair of Birdseye men were placed under arrest on warrants issued by the Dubois County Circuit Court in regards to a battery incident that took place last weekend in Birdseye.

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department took 19-year old Damian McBride and 39-year old Josh McBride into custody yesterday on the warrants.

Both are charged with 2 Level 5 Felony Counts of Intimidation, Level 6 Felony Counts of Criminal Recklessness, and Class B Misdemeanor counts of Disorderly Conduct.

The arrest came from an incident that took place at McBride’s residence and Anderson Valley Church in Birdseye.

At that time, Dubois County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the church after receiving a 911 call from a church member of shots fired and explosions on the McBride property.

Both McBride men were taken to and lodged in the Dubois County Security Center.
