Geraldine “Gerry” Hentrup, age 85 of Jasper, Indiana passed away at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, (April 92016), at Brookside Village Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born at Dubois, Indiana on February 18, 1931 to Anthony and Selma (Fischer) Strotman Sr.; She married Wilfred Hentrup October 20, 1949 in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2014.

Gerry retired from the former Jasper Holiday Inn where she worked for 40 years

She is a member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois.

She enjoyed bingo, playing cards. Also spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Beth Leistner and her husband Bill, Dubois, IN.
Son,
Dale Hentrup and his wife Linda, Dubois, In.
Two grandchildren, Kevin Leistner and Audrey Kluesner.
Two great grandchildren, Grace and Bentley Kluesner.

Preceding her in death besides her husband is two sisters, Lucille Royer and Annis Ferguson and one brother, Anthony Strotman Jr.

Funeral services for Geraldine Hentrup will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (April 12, 20016), in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Raphael’s Cemetery in Dubois.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois, Indiana.
