Arnold V. Lange, 82 of Huntingburg died Saturday May 21st at his home. He was born January 17, 1934 in Huntingburg to Clem F. & Clara (Brinkman) Lange. He married Martha Welp on January 7, 1956 in Holy Family Catholic Church in Jasper.

Arnold retired from Jasper Chair. He was a graduate of Holland High School Class of 1952. He was a lifelong member of St. Henry Catholic Church and was a past president of the St. Henry Community Club. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, horseshoes, quilting, and being with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Martha Lange. Six daughters, Debbie Moore (Jim) of Whitfield, Maria Graves (Charlie) of Bristow, Jean Rahman of Ferdinand, Carla Hoffman (Jerry) of Portersville, Elaine Main (Bernie) & Annette Buse (Brad) both of Huntingburg. Four sons, Alan (Dana) Lange of Holland, Gary (Diane) Lange & Jason (Belinda) Lange both of Huntingburg, Darryl (Lora) Lange of Mariah Hill. 30 grandchildren & 20 great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Virginia Johannemann of Ferdinand, Mary Ann Treat (Jim) of Santa Claus, & Fran Jerger (Ron) of Huntingburg. Two brothers, Ray (Dorothy) Lange & Clem (Mary C.) Lange both of Huntingburg. He was preceded in death by a son Gary Allen Lange in infancy, a son-in-law, Gary Rahman, and two sisters, Edna Tempel and Irene Lange in infancy, One brother, Victor Lange.

Funeral services 10:00 AM Thursday in Saint Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday and 7:00 to 9:30 AM Thursday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
