Joan L. Hilsmeyer, age 79, of Holland, passed away at 7:52 a.m., on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Brookside Village in Jasper.
She was born January 9, 1937, in Holland, Indiana to John and Violet (Rauscher) Hilsmeyer. Joan worked at Holland Dairy in the ice cream room. She was a member of the Holland United Methodist Church; and enjoyed time spent with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dorothy Partenheimer; and one brother, Ralph Dean Hilsmeyer.
She is survived by:
One brother,
Russ Hilsmeyer of Holland, Ind.;
Two sisters,
Doris Partenheimer of Holland, Ind.,
Alice Coleman of Washington, Ind.;
by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Joan L. Hilsmeyer will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Holland United Methodist Cemetery in Holland. Pastor Keith Chanley will officiate at the service.
