Paul E. Tretter, age 79, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 12:55 a.m. on Thursday (May 5, 2016) in the St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Unit in Lexington, Kentucky.

Tretter, PaulPaul was born in St. Meinred, Indiana on September 12, 1936 to Hubert M. and Ella (Ruxer) Tretter.

Paul was a member of the United States Marine Corp., and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper.

He was an avid fisherman and loved the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

Three daughters,
Shelley Sutton, and her husband, Gregory, Morning View, KY
Joan Wilcoxson, and her husband, David, Lexington, KY
Nancy Mullen, and her husband, David, Batesville, IN
One son,
Anthony “Tony” Tretter, and his wife Denise, Sun Prairie, WI
Thirteen grandchildren
Two great grandchildren
His sister-in-law, Doris Tretter

Preceding him in death are one sister, Eunice Rohleder, and two brothers, Kenny and Archie Tretter.

Private funeral services were held by the family at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper, Indiana.
