Rachel Nicole Groeschen, 38, of Evansville, died Monday, May 2, 2016 at her home. Rachel was born August 20, 1977 in Lafayette, IN, to Ronald and Kathy (Glascock) Groeschen.

Rachel enjoyed her cats, music, writing, cooking and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed family outings and her children.

Rachel is survived by two sons, Mitchell Ferley of Evansville and Nicholas Spaw of Clevelend, OH; two daughters, Marissa Schaefer of Huntingburg and Maci McClaine of Carmel, IN; her parents, Ronald and Kathy Groeschen of Ferdinand; one brother, Ryan (Mindy) Groeschen of Dale; one sister, Alisha Hile of Ferdinand; several nieces and nephews. Rachel was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Joan Groeschen; her maternal grandparents, William and Margaret Glascock.

A celebration of Life service will be held Friday at 6:00 PM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until time of service. Online condolences can be made at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
