Dennis P. Bickerest, age 63, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 12:00 p.m. on Monday (June 6, 2016) at home.

Dennis BickerestDennis was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 28, 1952 to John Bickerest II and LaVerne (Mackin) Bickerest. He married Pam Tyler on August 22, 1981 in Jasper, Indiana.

Dennis worked at Kimball Electronics as an electronic technician/engineer for 25 years.

He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, the American Legion Post #147, and the Jasper Moose.

He loved sports, but was especially an avid Louisville Cardinals fan.

Preceding him in death besides his parents is one sister, Donna Cox.

A Memorial Mass for Dennis P. Bickerest will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (June 14, 2016) at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military gravesite rites.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at the church on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center or to a favorite charity.
