Naomi M. Mattingly, 70, of Huntingburg, passed away at 1:15 p.m., E.D.T., on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center emergency room, Jasper, Indiana.

Naomi Mattingly obit picture691She was born October 20, 1945 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Dallas and Tabitha “Elizabeth” (Eckert) Wright. She married Paul R. Mattingly on June 12, 1976 at First Christian Church in Huntingburg. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Jasper. Naomi enjoyed bowling, mushroom hunting, fishing and, in her earlier years, riding her motorcycle. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas Wright and Elizabeth Wright- Englert; infant daughter, Deana Lorraine Morton who passed away on October 30, 1970; four sisters, Carol Selig, Mary Ellen McNallin, Hettie Nash and infant Edith Wright.

Funeral services for Naomi Mattingly will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
