Willis W. Nigg, age 87 of Jasper, IN, passed away at 1:04 p.m. on Monday (June 20, 2016) at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, IN.

Nigg, WillisWillis was born in Dubois, IN on September 23, 1928 to David and Catherine (Kalb) Nigg.  He married Annetta Buchta on November 5, 1949 in St. John’s Lutheran Church at the Dubois Crossroads.

Willis was a farmer and retired in the construction industry.

He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper, IN.

He enjoyed growing roses, woodworking, and spending time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Don Nigg and wife Connie, Jasper, IN

Gene Nigg and wife Rhonda, Jasper, IN

Four Grandchildren;

Michele Roelle, Kimberly Nigg, Adam Nigg, and Wendi Lindauer

Four Great Grandchildren;

Antony Roelle, Lillie Roelle, Ethan Nigg, and Silas Nigg

Preceding him in death was one grandson; Jeffrey Nigg, one sister; Evelyn Goller, and six brothers; Henry, Philmore, Elmer, Martin, Leander, and Edgar Nigg.

Funeral services for Willis W. Nigg will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday (June 23, 2016) at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper, Indiana with burial to follow in Community Cemetery in Haysville, IN

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time on Thursday (June 23, 2016) at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper, IN.
