Ralph Robert Beier, 61, of St. Meinrad, passed away at his home, Saturday, June 4th. Ralph was born August 24, 1954 in Huntingburg to Edward and Henrietta (Wigger) Beier. He married Nancy Schwinghamer on July 9, 1978.

Ralph is survived by one son, Zachery (Jenni) Beier of Ferdinand; one daughter, Amber (Bo) Miller of Anderson; six brothers, Marvin (Deb) of Jasper, Eugene (Cathy) Beier, Leon Beier, Darrin Beier, John Beier, all of Ferdinand, Greg (Jane) Beier of Huntingburg; four sisters, Mary Ann (John) Merkley of Jasper, Reinalda (Jim) Weyer and Charlotte Beier all of Ferdinand, Marsha (Owen) Simpson of Paoli; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents and a sister-in-law, Diana Beier.

Ralph was a farmer and was the very first Commander of the Sons of American Legion at the Ferdinand American Legion Post 124.

A celebration of life will be held June 25th at St. Henry Community Club from 1-4:00 PM.
