Authorities for the City of Jasper are looking for the public’s help as they look into an accident that took place at a Jasper intersection Monday afternoon.

Jasper Police say just after 2:30 pm yesterday 34-year old Bonnie Huff of Ferdinand, was northbound on Newton Street when she stopped for the stop sign at Third and Newton.

Meanwhile police say 27-year old Christa Hulen of Jasper was eastbound on Third stopped for the stop sign as well.

Both drivers told police they did not see the other vehicle before pulling into the intersection and crashed.

Police say Hulen was treated at the scene for an existing medical condition by Memorial Hospital EMS.

10-thousand dollars total damage was sustained in the Monday afternoon crash.
