Howard W. Goss, age 73, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday (June 30, 2016) at home.

Howard was born in Milltown, Indiana, on December 3, 1942 to Gerald and Fern (Day) Goss.  He married Kathy Sendelweck on January 30, 1965 in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township.

Howard worked as an Electrical Line Foreman at Hoosier Energy for over 30 years.

 

 

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township.

He enjoyed knife making and woodworking.

Preceding him in death are one daughter, Angela Sutton, three sisters, Jeanette Wynn, Vivian Curtis, and Patricia Kluesner, and two brothers-in-law, Albert and Daniel Sendelweck.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Howard W. Goss will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday (July 16, 2016) at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boone Township, with burial at a later date.  Pastor Catherine Burnette will officiate.

 

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service time at the church.

 

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions may be made to the Dubois County Special Olympics or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
