Kenneth L. Schepers, age 83 of Huntingburg, Indiana, passed away at 12:52 a.m. on Friday (July 29, 2016) at the Waters of Huntingburg.

Kenny was born on May 14, 1933 in Jasper, Indiana to Johnny and Alvena (Nordhoff) Schepers. He married Dorothy Eckert on September 13, 1958 at St. Celestine Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on November 8, 2010.

Kenny retired from Aristokraft Cabinets in Ferdinand, IN.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg, IN.

He enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, and reading.

Preceding him in death beside his wife was one sister, Martha Schepers and one brother, Gene Schepers.

Funeral services for Kenny Schepers will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday (August 2, 2016) at St. Celestine Catholic Church in Celestine, Indiana, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military grave site rights.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday (August 1, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
