HOUSE INTERNS SOUGHT

District 63 State Representative Mike Braun of Jasper and fellow Republican members of the Indiana House of Representatives are seeking interns for the upcoming 2017 legislative session, which runs from January through April.

In a release Braun says It’s important that students gain valuable work experience before entering today’s competitive job market. He says this internship offers students the chance to build their resumes and expand their professional network, while also continuing to develop the skills necessary to enter the workforce.

College sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, law students and recent graduates are eligible to apply. Benefits include a bi-weekly compensation of $700 and opportunities to earn academic credits and a scholarship.

These are full-time positions, Monday through Friday, with a typical work day starting at 8:30 a.m.
Internships are available in various departments, including legislative, communications, technology, fiscal policy and policy. The deadline to apply is October 31st.
