Coming up this weekend on Saturday, October 8th is the 4th annual Haunted Huntingburg. The event is comprised of family fun activities, music and food. Saturday morning registration for the run begins at 9 a.m., cost is twenty-five dollars. Free zombie makeovers are available to the 5k participants who are ready to be Zombies in full running dead mode. The Zombie 5k fun run begins at the Huntingburg Old Town Hall as the route continues to Niehaus Park.

At 12 noon until 7 p.m. the Blues Festival will be taking place on Market Street behind the Huntingburg Old Town Hall. As the music plays festival goers can enjoy food, craft brews, and art and craft vendors. There will be a Scary Cake Bake Contest at Current Blend, along with children activities such as: Pumpkin decorating, Crazy Hair, Trick or Treat on 4th street, Teen Outback’s Family Costume Contest, games and Hayrides.

After the Blues Festival wraps up families are encouraged to make their way to Huntingburgs 4th Street at 8 p.m. where a free night time movie of Hotel Transivania 2 will be showing. For adults there will be a free viewing of the Rock Horror Picture Show at the GasLight followed up with a performance by Birdland Blues to conclude the evening.
