Evelyn L. Weyer, 87, of Ferdinand, passed away, Tuesday, November 15th at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand. Evelyn was born December 29, 1928 in Ferdinand to Albert and Philomena (Schipp) Weyer. Evelyn was retired from General Electric.
She was a member of St. Ferdinand Parish. Evelyn belonged to St. Anne’s Sodality, Daughters of Isabella, American Legion Post 124 Auxiliary and Ferdinand Senior Citizens.
She enjoyed playing cards, Forest Park Athletics and Indiana Hoosier Basketball. Evelyn was a volunteer at Scenic Hills Care Center.
Evelyn is survived by two sister-in-law, Bernice Weyer and Theresa Weyer both of Ferdinand and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Weyer and Wilfred Weyer.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Ferdinand Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8:00 PM and Friday from 7-9:30 AM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand.
