For the Second time Memorial Hospital has achieved a five star rating which is the highest possible rating for quality of care, customer experience and value of care received. The rating is awarded by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services with only 112 hospitals nationwide to received this distintive honor.

The assesment is based on 64 quality measures of a hospital rating system between one and five stars. Each hospital is based on how well they perform, on average, compared with other hospitals in the US. The more stars a hospital has the better there perfromance as compared to others, with the most common ratting being tree stars.

“Receiving this distinction a second time is a result of the consistent focus on our mission of being for others through quality and excellence from our dedicated workforce,” said E. Kyle Bennett, President/CEO of Memorial Hospital. “Our workforce is dedicated to providing the best care for the communities we serve, and we’re proud to receive this recognition.”
