Anna Kathryn Blessinger, age 84, of Holland, passed away at 10:03 a.m., Thursday, March 23, 2017, at her home.

She was born April 23, 1932, in Derby, Indiana to Henry Albert and Mary Blaundina (Evrard) Hubert; and married Cletus Conrad Blessinger on August 31, 1957, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg. Anna was a bookkeeper, seamstress, quilter, homemaker and grandmother. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Ladies Sodality. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Blessinger, who passed away on February 13, 1998; and two siblings, Raphael Hubert and Alberta Runyan.

She is survived by six children, Lisa (Douglas) Walter of Indianapolis, Michelle Knight of Washington, Larry (Beth) Blessinger of Westfield, Mona Haas of Jasper, Sandy (Keith) Horton of Huntingburg and Cletus (Mary) Blessinger, Jr. of Bloomington; three sisters, Madonna (Wes) Leibering of Huntingburg, Ramona (Bob) Brosmer of Jasper and Rose (Louis) Waters of Huntingburg; sister-in-law, Dorothy Sitzman of Saint Meinrad; brother-in-law, Myron Runyan of Huntingburg; by sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Monday, March 27, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. The funeral Mass will be celebrated by Reverend Ryan Hilderbrand.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., on Sunday. A parish vigil prayer service, led by Deacon Tom Holsworth, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
