1. Lego Club – Sunday, March 19, 2 pm. Join in this Lego building time, ages 5+ welcome.

2. Make and Take Adult Crafts – Monday, March 20, 6:30 pm. Register to join us for this adult crafting time. Supplies will be provided to make a mini Easter basket to take home. Registration required.

3. JPL Walking Club: March/April Session – Tuesday mornings, 8 am. Join Library staff, walkers and Library patrons for the walking club. Meet up with other walkers every Tuesday mornings in March and April at St. Joseph Parish Center. A healthy snack will be provided to participants.

4. IT Group for Non-Profits: NetSquared – Tuesday, March 21, 6 pm. Learn how to use the computer, apps and technology to benefit your non-profit. Learn about resources offered FREE for non-profits. All those working with a non-profit organization in any capacity will benefit from this opportunity. Registration is strongly encouraged.

5. Tech Help – Wednesday afternoons, 1-3 pm. We will work with you to understand how to use all kinds of technology, tablets, phones, laptops, etc. No registration is required. Drop by the Library Annex on Wednesday afternoons.

6. Dollar-A-Day Boys: Musical Tribute to the CCC – Wednesday, March 22, 6 pm at the Dubois County Museum. Michigan based author Bill Jamerson presents heartfelt tales and hilarious stories from the 1930’s during this musical tribute about the Civilian Conservation Corps at the Dubois County Museum on Wednesday, March 22 at 6 pm (doors will open at 5:00 pm at the museum). The presentation sponsored by the Jasper Public Library and the Dubois County Museum, is free and open to the public.

7. Anime/Manga Club – Saturday, March 25, 11 am. Those who enjoy graphic novels and drawing in the style used in Anime and Manga are welcome to join this group.

8. Baby Playtime – Monday, March 27, 10 am. Parents and children, 2 and under, can enjoy some social time while playing with the library toys during this monthly playtime in the Library Annex.

9. Movie at the Library: Sing – Monday, March 27, 2 pm. All ages welcome. An adult must accompany children under 8 years old.

10. Evening Tech Help – Monday, March 27, 4-6 pm. We will work with you to understand how to use all kinds of technology, tablets, phones, laptops, etc. The Library has laptops available for use during the Tech Help time in the Library Annex. Drop by and learn more.

11. Paw Patrol Party – Tuesday, March 28, 6 pm. Join us for Paw Patrol activities, games and snacks. Registration begins March 14.

12. Book Discussion Group – Tuesday, March 28, 6:30 pm. This month’s selection is The Soloist by Steve Lopez. Those interested in participating are welcome to pick up a copy of the book before the night of the discussion. New members are always welcome.

13. Open Gaming Day – Wednesday, March 29, 2 pm. Join other gamers in the Library to use the Wii or Wii U gaming systems in an opening gaming event.

14. Strings, Inc.: Music Together Class – Thursday, March 30, 10 am. A music and movement class for children ages 0 to 5 years old. Come make music an exciting part of your child’s life! Bring your newborn, toddler, or preschooler to one of our research-based, fun filled music and movement classes. Regardless of your own music ability, you will contribute to your child’s music learning, and form everlasting bonds. Registration is required.

15. Open Crafting – Thursday, March 30, 2 pm. The children’s librarians will have supplies available for making a variety of crafts during this crafting hour. Join us and make a craft or two while supplies last.
16. Pokémon Playgroup – Saturday, March 1, 1 pm. Join other Pokémaniacs the first Saturday of each month for a time to play, share and learn more about Pokémon games. Bring all things Pokémon, and join us in the Library Annex.

17. Book Club Movie at the Library: The Soloist – Sunday, April 2, 2pm. The Book Club invites everyone whether you read the book or not to join them for the movie version of “The Soloist”.

18. TED Talks Series – Tuesday, April 4, Noon. Join us for the TED Talks video Why We will Rely on Robots. Rodney Brooks points out how valuable this could be as the number of working-age adults drops and the number of retirees swells. All TED Talks videos begin at 12:15 pm and run less than 20 minutes to allow those on lunch hours to participate. Bring a sack lunch and join us for video and discussion.

19. Bookworm Book Club (gr 4-8) – Tuesday, April 4, 4:30 pm. Students are invited to join this group in the Jasper Library Theater on the first Tuesday of each month for book discussion. Snacks and books are provided to participants.

20. Off the Hook: Needle Crafters Club – Tuesday, April 4, 6 pm, Jasper Library Annex. If you crochet, knit or enjoy other needlecrafts join this fun “Off the Hook” group of crafters. Bring along your current projects and supplies or come and get instruction on starting needlecrafts.

21. Knit Together – Thursday, April 6, 6 pm. Bring your own needles and join this group to learn more about knitting and knit projects for you or the community. Looms and yarn are available for those interested in loom knitting.

22. Duplo Club – Friday, April 7, 10 am. We invite parents to bring their 2-5-year-old children to the Library Annex to build and create with Duplo bricks. The Library provides Duplo Bricks for this playtime.
