Sisters of St. Benedict will offer a program, “The Book of Glory: Reflections on John 13-21,” on Saturday, March 18, from 9:45 a.m. Eastern time until 3:30 p.m. at Monastery Immaculate Conception in Ferdinand, Indiana.

The presenter will be Father Eugene Hensell, OSB, a monk of Saint Meinrad Archabbey. He has a doctorate in Scripture and is an associate professor of Scripture in the Seminary and School of Theology. He is in much demand giving biblical retreats to laity, religious groups, and clergy throughout the country.

The second half of John’s gospel is called the Book of Glory. It begins with the last supper Jesus shares with his disciples and ends with Jesus appearing to his disciples after his resurrection. These chapters are rich in theology and spiritual insight. Participants will reflect on these insights, and should bring a Bible.
