This traffic note to motorists especially those travelling or who normally travel in the vicinity of 3rd Avenue and Meridian Road on Jasper’s southeast side, the traffic light at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Meridian road in Jasper is now properly functioning.
The signal began experiencing problems yesterday afternoon and as a result, highway officials had a Yellow Flashing Caution Light for traffic along 3rd Avenue to proceed through the intersection.
Meanwhile Meridian Road traffic had a Red Flashing light with ALL traffic along that roadway coming to a stop prior to proceeding through the intersection.
