Additional charges have been filed in a pending case involving a confessed child molester, 63- Claude Taylor.
After a more in depth investigation by Det. Sgt. Christian L. Gogel, who took his findings to the Dubois County Prosecutors office, 9 additional charges that were filed against Taylor.
In Total – 2 Counts of Child Molesting (A-Felony), 2 Counts of Incest (B – Felony) and 6 Counts of Child Molesting (C – Felony).
Taylor was already facing a Class A -Felony for Child Molesting after he confessed on May 12th, to several inappropriate incidents that had taken place between him and an approximate 9 year old female six year earlier. The Department of Child Services was contacted and a police investigation was initiated which led to his arrest on Friday, May 12th at 1 pm.
Taylor is currently being held in the Dubois County Security Center, were he is being held on a 20,000.00 cash only bond.
