Officials with the Dubois County Highway Department say due to high water as a result of Sunday morning’s heavy rain storms, the department has closed a number of roadways.

Most notable is the Old Huntingburg Road between Jasper and Huntingburg. The department says the gates have been closed.

Other areas include County Road 400 South East if US Highway 231 near the railroad tracks and 1st Street east of Huntingburg near League Stadium.

These areas and roadways will remain closed un
til further notice.
