A Martin County Teen was slightly injured in a single vehicle accident Monday morning east of Haysville.

The Dubois County Sheriff’s says at around a quarter till 8 am yesterday, 17-year old Kenadi Rumble of Loogootee wa travelling Eastbound on State Road 56 2 miles east of Haysville at the “Sendelweck Curve” when deputies say she lost control of her pickup on the wet roadway, went off the road to the right, struck an embankment and overturned.

Authorities say the truck landed on it’s roof and then rolled onto its wheels.

Rumble suffered a small bump to the head but refused treatment from EMS at the scene.

The truck was a total loss. No injuries were reported.

State Road 56 was down to one lane for about one hour while the scene was cleared.

The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Haysville First Responders and Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services.
