The Jasper Police Department has received several complaints, recently, of counterfeit money being used as payment at several different businesses in town.

Police say the denominations range from $100.00 to $5.00 bills.

Policew ask that you be cognitive of the currency that you accept for payment and any currency received as change.

If you would receive counterfeit money residents are asked to contact with the Jasper Police Department at (812) 482-2255, or your local law enforcement agency.
