Officers pay to put away their razors for the month to benefit the Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Center Coalition. Officers made a donation to participate. This is being done to raise money and increase awareness about who SWICACC is and what they do.

SWICACC Provides safe reporting locations for victims of crime and their families with community based multi-disciplinary teams that provide support, promote justice and help to prevent violence. Officers from the Dubois County Sheriffs Department work hand in hand with staff from SWICACC investigating incidents of child abuse within Dubois County.

Officers from the Dubois County Sheriffs Department will be joined by staff from the Dubois Middle School, Dubois County Prosecutors office and a local business that graciously agreed to help. This year’s funds raised by officers were supplemented by a donation of $500.00 from American Family Insurance, Kim Woodward Agency, of Jasper, Indiana.

A total of $964.72 was raised and all officers involved have returned to normal shaving. The money was presented to Tammy Lampert with SWICACC on 12/5/17.
