Dubois County Community Foundation will host IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy’s Fund Raising School on March 28 and 29 at the Habig Center in Jasper.

Local nonprofits are invited to attend the two-day course at a reduced rate of $100 per person made possible by grant funding from the Community Foundation and Indiana Nonprofit Resource Network.

Based on the best practices of fundraisers who have enjoyed success at small nonprofits, this course provides time-saving methods designed for smaller nonprofits with one or fewer full-time fundraisers. Attendees will learn a simple six-step framework, and explore how to recruit and utilize board members, volunteers, and even donors to help you meet your fundraising goals.

Bill Stanczykiewicz, Director of The Fund Raising School, and a senior lecturer at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy is the scheduled instructor for the course.

Space is limited so those interested should register soon by contacting Nona Baker at 812.482.5295 or nona@dccommunityfoundation.org. The link to register can also be on the Community Foundation’s website at dccommunityfoundation.org.
