An investigation by a Dubois County Sheriff’s deputy Thursday night lead to the incarceration of a wanted Jasper man and a Huntingburg man on drug charges.

While conducting an investigation around 11 o’clock Thursday evening, the deputy pulled his vehicle behind another parked along Fourth Street just west of Clay in Jasper.

Inside the vehicle was 26-year old Angel Luna of Jasper and 18-year old Christian Northern of Huntingburg.

After making contact with the two, authorities found that Luna was wanted on warrants out of both Harrison and Monroe counties.

A K-9 unit was called to the scene and indicated the presence of narcotics. A search lead to the discovery of 28 grams of marijuana along with paraphernalia.

Northern was placed under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

Deputies released the driver of the vehicle.

Assistance was provided by the Jasper Police Department.
