Authorities took a Jasper man into custody early today after receiving word of possible drug activity at a west side Jasper residence.

A tip was given recently to deputies with the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department about drugs being sold out of a residence located along the 2200 block of Skyview Drive in Jasper. Deputies, with the Jasper Police Department and troopers with the Indiana State Police troopers arrived at the residence and questioned the occupants.

An investigation prompted authorities to obtain a search warrant for the home that to lead to the discovery of over 99 grams of marijuana, several articles of paraphernalia and several schedule II controlled substances.

21-year-old Evan Lindauer of Jasper

End the end 21-year old Evan Lindauer was placed under arrest and charged with a Level 6 felony count of dealing in marijuana and misdemeanor counts of possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction, possession of marijuana and illegal possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.

Lindauer was taken to and booked into the Dubois County Security Center.
