Deputies with the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department say they are looking into a single vehicle accident that took place earlier today.

Just before 8:30 this morning, deputies were called to a location along the Jasper-Dubois Road just south of Beaver Lake Road. When they arrived, deputies found a single vehicle that say had run off the Jasper-Dubois Road and flipped several times in a corn field.

Authorities say the driver was taken to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper before being lifeflighted to another medical facility.

The sheriff’s department says information on the driver and vehicle are being withheld until an investigation is complete.
