Local Sources –  Matthew Heimbach, who has been nicknamed the next David Duke, was arrested this week following a dispute that led to charges of battery.

Heimbach a White Nationalist was arrested on Tuesday after an incident involving Heimbach and his wife’s stepfather, Matt Parrott.

The alleged assault occurred at a Paoli property where Heimbach and other members of the Traditionalist Worker Party, a hate group as identified by the Southern Poverty Law Center, live.

Police say Parrott confronted Heimbach about an alleged affair between Heimbach and Parrott’s wife and after the assault Parrott left and called police from an area Walmart.

Heimbach, who lives in Paoli was involved in promoting the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Va., last August. Parrott helped Heimbach form the Traditionalist Worker Party.

Heimbach faces a Felony Count of Domestic Battery and a Misdemeanor Charge of Battery.

Heimbach’s wife told police her husband pushed her and grabbed her face in front of their two young children.

He posted a $1,000 cash bond shortly after his arrest and was released from the Orange County Jail.
